Enoch. The prophecy of the 10 weeks

The following passage from the Book of Enoch definitely sums up how the upright and righteous are to separate themselves from the ways of this evil, condemned and utterly fallen and forsaken world (order); “And fear not, ye righteous, when you see the sinners growing strong and prospering in their ways: be not companions with them, but keep far from their violence; for ye shall become companions of the hosts of heaven”.

Although the book of Enoch falls outside the  current canon of scripture, it is an important book that tells us a lot about the important beliefs of the early church and the Jews of that time. It has been included in the canon at times in the past and was clearly a very important book to the early Messianic believers and was usually found bound together with the Gospels and Epistles of the Early church. Many copies were found at Qumran. The authorship of the book is contested because its style changes several times through its text which would indicate more that one writer. This may be in part due to the fact that many of the early works of Judaism were preserved through an oral tradition and later put into written form. WATCH: Okanagan real estate sales soar in 2014

OKANAGAN – Okanagan real estate sales soared in 2014 according to the latest statistics released by the Okanagan Mainline Real Estate Board (OMREB). Numbers were strong in both the residential and commercial sectors, with sales up 24 per cent year over year, the strongest upswing the region has seen in seven years.

“Despite a slow start to 2014, sales began to bounce back in March and the steady upward trend accelerated into an extraordinarily busy and fast paced summer and fall,” according to the OMREB news release.

According to the OMREB, the Shuswap led the way in overall sales, up 29 per cent in 2014. Single family home sales rose by 25.6 per cent, townhouses were up 27 per cent and apartments sales jumped 41.7 per cent.

Overall sales in the North Okanagan were 28.1 per cent higher in 2014. Apartments sales led the way up 31.9 percent, 30.3 per cent more single…
